The Nonprofit Cultivation Center, a new and groundbreaking collaboration between Boulder County and Foothills United Way, officially launched its suite of programs at a kickoff party on Thursday, February 3, at Rembrandt Yard in Boulder.

The Nonprofit Cultivation Center (www.npcultivationcenter.org) was designed meet the goal of integrating and coordinating the delivery of human services to nonprofit organizations throughout Boulder County. The program offers low-cost and free trainings, peer learning groups, and reduced fee consulting services local nonprofits, with the intent of helping the organizations execute their mission and goals at the highest levels. "The Nonprofit Cultivation Center was created from a priority outlined in the Boulder County Human Services Strategic Plan because we are committed to ensuring that nonprofits and their staff members have high quality and affordable professional development so that they can fulfill their missions at the highest level possible,” said Robin Bohannan, Director of Community Services at Boulder County. “This program also builds a strong leadership pipeline for our nonprofit sector.
An estimated 120-plus representatives from Boulder County’s health and human services nonprofits, the nonprofit consulting community and regional training organizations attended the launch on Thursday evening.
