Foothills United Way has started the process of evaluation for 2012-15 United Way Funding Cycle. As local health-and-human-service nonprofit the agencies are preparing online program applications, we are working to recruit allocations volunteers; local community residents who will evaluate programs and make funding recommendations.
Allocations volunteers will review submitted applications and attend weekly meetings at the United Way offices to hear presentations from applying programs and make funding decisions.
The total time commitment is approximately 18-20 hours per month, from mid-March through mid-May.
Allocations volunteers have a unique opportunity to take a first-hand look at needs and programs in our community, and to make critically important decisions on how to best use Foothills United Way funds to support those programs.
If you would like to take part in the process, please contact Kelli Kanemoto, FHUW's VP of Community Impact, at 303-444-4013, or email her here.
