Many PIE participants join the program as they pursue what they love to do and develop a new or beginning business. Most recently PIE participants have opened a day care center, a hair salon, and a photography business. For some business owners, this is an opportunity for developing their lifelong dreams into reality. Through small business development, PIE participants receive guidance in developing a business plan as well as building a stronger financial foundation.
