The Personal Investment Enterprise Program has been nominated for the NOVA Award that is given by The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County. Please join us in voting for the most innovative programs in the community!
What is the NOVA Award?
In the universe, a NOVA is a start that suddenly increases in brightness to several times its normal magnitude. The NOVA Award honors innovation in programs/services or innovations in business operations, within Boulder County’s non-profit sector. The NOVA Awards were established by The Community Foundation in 1997.
How do people vote?
- You may vote between Monday, April 16th and Saturday, April 21st.
- Go to http://www.commfound.org/nova/2012
- Read the nominee summaries (Full nominations available by clicking on “Read More”)
- Below the summaries are drop-down menus for ranks 1-5. Rank the five organizations you think are doing the most innovative work and hit “Submit.” A unique selection must be made for ranks 1-5 each or the vote will not go through. Please know several measures are in place to prevent ballot stuffing, during the online vote.
We hope you enjoy voting for great programs available in our community!
How is the final decision reached?
Selecting the NOVA Award winner includes several steps. Two committees of community members will review and score nominations. The results of the online vote will be factored into the committee scores. Then the committee will convene to discuss all the results and select the 2012 award winner. The identity of the winning organization will be kept secret until time for the big reveal.
