As we look back on 2018, we would like to send a warm thank you to the many supporters of the Personal Investment Enterprise Program that make this partnership program a continued success for our communities in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. This year has been one of transition as we have:
- Gained a new financial partner with FirstBank providing custodial saving accounts to all PIE participants
- Received new support from local cities and counties and financial institutions
- Expanded homeownership options for the purchase location for PIE participants
- Increased our collaboration with Boulder County Housing and Financial Counseling team for all PIE participants accessing a one-on-one counseling session as part of application to PIE.
- New members joined the PIE Advisory Board
So far this year, 22 participants have completed the program and there are now 313 individuals/families that have purchased a home (127), pursued post-secondary education (110) or capitalized their business (76) with the support of PIE. The PIE team is pleased to share the following results of the impact ( Download PIE Participant Outcomes - Completion and One Year Later 18) that the PIE experience makes on participants and their families.
