This month our communities came together to honor Nino Gallo and his work that has strengthened our communities over the last 25+ years. Nino passed away December 1st after fighting COVID-19. While we deeply miss his presence, we continue his work and celebrate all that he accomplished with compassion, kindness, generosity and humor. For the past 17 years, Nino developed the PIE program to what it is today.
Tuesday, January 5th, Nino’s birthday, was declared “Nino Gallo Day” by the City of Longmont, City of Boulder and Boulder County. Please see the proclamations below that were read on January 5th in Nino’s honor.
